I (Courtney) met Grace when she was a part of the Christian youth theater that my kids participated in. She has a beautiful voice and a beautiful soul. She was always kind and patient with younger kids and fun to be around...working hard, but always smiling.

I got an instant message from her one day that said, "I think you've been hacked, and BTW I love what you're doing, I want to do that when I grow up." I messaged her back and asked her when she wanted to grow up because I needed another teacher! She was just about to graduate from Regent University Art, English, and communication and I knew she would be a great teacher.

Grace is passionate about fostering creativity in her students and showing them that art is for everyone, all it takes is practice! As a very creative person, Grace sees beauty in everything around her, from nature, to animals, to the complex individuality of people! Inspiring, educating, and getting to know her students individually brings her tremendous amounts of joy!} This hasn't changed. 

 

Grace began her drawing journey in high school and found a love of acrylic paint in college. She particularly loves realistic artwork, intricate details, and shading! Grace is drawn to nature and the beautiful world we live in. God is the ultimate artist, and attempting to replicate His creation is one of her favorite pastimes. 

 

Grace lives in Willow Springs, North Carolina with her husband Josiah who is studying law at Campbell University. When she is not teaching or doing art, you can find Grace playing with her cat Chips who has become the class pet, reading a good book at the local coffee shop, or thrift shopping.

 

Grace is looking forward to meeting your students, and teaching them to love this beautiful world we live in through art, poetry, and more!
